The World's Biggest Comedy Duo
Who are We? PDF Print E-mail

We are a live improv troupe performing in the Sonoma County / Bay Area, currently doing performances in the style of "Whose Line is it Anyway." We are available for booking and can provide hilarious improv shows from 30 to 90 minutes in length. We are available for corporate events, parties, TV events and local performances.

We have been performing Improv Comedy in Sonoma County for over 2 years! We were recently featured in the Bohemian Newspaper (here) and we have played at several prominent benefit shows at the Raven Theatre and the Glaser Center (in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa respectively.)

The Worlds Biggest Comedy Duo was originally founded by Marc Azevedo and JW Wade, then reimagined by Adam Aragon and Matlock Zumsteg. They are currently performing live shows at the Black Rose Pub and the Last Day Saloon (see details on the Schedule page.) They are also making plans to expand their show to incorporate more short form improv, pre-written sketches, variety performances, and a new ensemble style!

What is Improv?

Improvisational theatre (also known as improv or impro) is a form of theatre in which the actors use improvisational acting techniques to perform spontaneously. Actors typically use audience suggestions to guide the performance as they create dialogue, setting, and plot out of thin air. Improvisational theatre performances tend to be comedic.

Many improvisational actors also work as scripted actors, and "improv" techniques are often taught in standard acting classes. The basic skills of listening, clarity, confidence, and performing instinctively and spontaneously are considered important skills for actors to develop.

How does it Work?

Almost all of our actors have some form of theatre, TV or film experience and we are professional, quick and witty. We take suggestions from the audience for a large portion of our games and every single show is completely different and based off suggestions from the audience. We also generally provide a theme (for our weekly shows or on request) to help change things up a little bit. If you've ever seen the show "Whose Line is it Anyway" you'll have a good idea of what we do, although we do a lot of our own games and original material.
